Godrevy - Is an area on the eastern side of St Ives Bay, west Cornwall, which faces the Atlantic Ocean. It is popular with both surfing and walkers. It is part owned by the National Trust, just off land is an Island with a lighthouse, this is a nice few and takes some good pictures. Godrevy lies within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the South West Coast Path runs around the whole promontory. There are several public car parks on the western side where the National Trust owns and operates a café.
This truly is a great place to visit and especially on a hot sunny day, you do sometimes see seals in the water surrounding the coast.
